Canal Way and the St William Planning Application Boundaries

In summary the application is for:
- Significant improvements to pedestrian and cycling safety along Canal Way including lighting, boundary treatments and the provision of a new shared pedestrian cycle route from Ladbroke Grove to the St William site
- Resurfacing the Canal Way highway from Ladbroke Grove to the St William site
- A new signalised Ladbroke Grove Canal Way junction
- The extension of a bus route to the St William site including the provision for a new bus stop
A Collaboration Agreement between the developers is to ensure a comprehensive redevelopment of the KCOA can always be realised and:
- In the event the St William site is developed before the Ballymore Sainsbury’s masterplan then the Canal Way Works will be delivered
- If Ballymore Sainsbury’s develop their proposals before St William, then the Canal Way Works are not required
- If the Canal Way Works have been complete and Ballymore Sainsbury’s then later redevelop their sites then the Canal Way Works are removed immediately on completion of the wider masterplan road network
